DUMAN
The biggest rock band of Turkey since the late 1990s Duman has been able to preserve their legacy with each album. The now legendary 1999 “Eski Köprünün Altında” was followed up by “Belki Alışman Lazım” in 2002 and the band was performing all over the country, their songs becoming anthems for Turkey’s youth. Duman’s original songs became just as successful as their covers to unforgettable songs of Sezen Aksu, Erkin Koray and Orhan Gencebay. Too busy performing and reinventing themselves, Duman didn’t release new work until 2012, when they released “Darmaduman” and a brand new generation was hooked on their music. Only changing their drummer through the last few decades, the original members Kaan Tangöze on vocals and guitars, Batuhan Mutlugil on guitar and back vocals, and Ari Barokas on bass and back vocals Kaan and Ari released solo albums but the band stayed together. After hosting Kaan Tangöze as a solo artist last year, Cappadox will have Duman on the Uçhisar Meydan stage. Listen to both oldies and newer songs of the living-legend band such as “Aman Aman”, “Senden Daha Güzel”, “İçerim Ben Bu Akşam”, “Helal Olsun”, “Eyvallah”, “Seni Kendime Sakladım” on June 18th at Cappadox.
