An essential part of Multi Culti, Nicola Cruz incorporates modernized elements of ancient mythology and folklore in his music, and he is definitely one of the new generation producers to keep an eye on. The past and the future, tradition and modernity are the fundamentals Cruz brings together under unique sound structures. Drawing from his Ecuadorian roots, the young producer shapes his music around Latin rhythms and melodies. Collaborating with Nicolas Jaar in 2012 and releasing Cantos de Vision last year, Cruz continues to deliver South America’s folkloric music like a breath of fresh air to the music of today.
