AHMET ASLAN

Musician Ahmet Aslan has studied at the Conservatory of the Istanbul Technical University before relocating to Germany in 1996. He released his debut album “Va u Waxt” (Wind and time) in 2003, and second album Veyvé Mılaketu “(Dance of the Angels)” in 2008. Bringing traditional Anatolian music together with Western forms, Aslan plays the guitar and bağlama as well as his own design La-Tar (guitar-saz) which he devised while studying at the Rotterdam World Music Academy. Ahmet Aslan will be on the Cappadox Çiftlik Evi Garanti stage with a repertoire of Anatolian music, sang in Turkish and Zaza and his bağlama and La-Tar.
